We are currently hiring a skilled Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer to manage servers, networks, and virtual/cloud environments for our U.S.-based clients.
About the Role
You’ll manage servers, networks, and virtual/cloud environments for U.S.-based clients, ensuring smooth operations, backups, and endpoint management. This is a fully remote position with night shift hours (Indonesian time) requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud or virtualized servers (Windows/Linux)
- Manage Active Directory / Entra ID, Group Policies, DNS/DHCP
- Implement patch management, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
- Perform endpoint management and automation using PowerShell or Bash
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Configure and maintain file shares, print servers, and network services
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with security and network teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide tier-2 escalation support for complex technical issues
Requirements (Must-have)
- 2+ years of systems administration experience
- Strong Windows Server and/or Linux server expertise
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Scripting ability (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) for effective remote collaboration
- Willingness to work night shift (Indonesian time) aligned to U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent experience
- VMware VCP-DCV (VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization)
- CompTIA Server+ or Linux+ certification
- Red Hat RHCSA / RHCE for Linux-focused roles
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices
- ITIL Foundation or similar process management knowledge
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, CloudWatch)
